Michael Sam’s coming out party.

20140211-175257.jpg

Over the weekend Co-Defensive player of the SEC, (11.5 sacks, 19 tackles for loss) Michael Sam of the Missouri Tigers, came out and said that he was a homosexual. If he didn’t let people know that he was gay, by his play on the field, I would’ve never known. He is projected to be a 3rd-5th round pick. On the field, this dude is a beast! I don’t care about his sexual preference at all. If he can help my team and sack the QB, it’s all good!! Who am I to judge. His business is his business. People it is 2014, anything and everything should be acceptable! Of course, it’s a sin, but so is lust, greed, pride, gluttony, wrath, sloth, envy. Everybody sins everyday!! People that live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones! All in all, let Michael Sam be. He is ultimately a human being with feelings, just like everybody else. Again, I’ll take him on my team any day!!

Hear Me Out

When I saw this picture I laughed at first. Then I thought about it, this statement is dead on. It’s clear that you have to have car insurance in order to drive the car off the lot. Why isn’t it the same for health insurance? Everybody needs healthcare available to them when they need it. There’s nothing like knowing that you can go to the doctor when you feel like you need to. People want to blame the government shut down on Obamacare aka the Affordable Care Act. Some people are too stupid to realize that it’s the same thing. Healthcare is needed for everybody, regardless of your status. How would your life be right now if you didn’t have health insurance?

Hear Me Out

I know by now that you all have heard about the death of NFL star Adrian Peterson’s 2 year old son. This was a senseless act of violence by his baby’s mother “boyfriend”. I will never understand how a women can leave her child alone with a man, who just last year was arrested for domestic issues. Men you should check out any woman before you lay down with her. At least know what kind of people she hangs around. All sex isn’t good sex. Just because it glitters doesn’t mean its gold. And women you should do the same. You shouldn’t have dudes around your child if your not considering marrying him. I have two Goddaughters, one with both parents, and one without. If my goddaughter’s mother lets a man beat on her, it’s going to be both of their asses. A child represents life and a new beginning. There’s nothing a 2 year old can do to make me hit them in the head with a steel rod. A steel rod?!?! Really!! I not wasting anytime listing this dudes name, but he is a fckn coward, a loser, and a dead man walking. When he goes to prison, they are going to open him up first, then gut him like a fish. At least they should, I think they should. He wants to beat on a kid to show that he’s a tough guy. We’ll know how tough he is when he gets behind them bars. This news made me sick to my stomach.

It’s Friday Night

It’s the beginning of the weekend. Nice weather in store, a plethora of football games Saturday and Sunday. Life is good right now. And if you are reading this, I know you agree. To have your health and strength is one thing, but living the life you want, is priceless. Outside of my marriage, I’m not living the life I want, but every day I reach closer and closer. And with her help, I’m half way there.
Are you living the life you want to?

This is a picture from our honeymoon suite!!

It’s Friday Night

Tonight I took my wife on a date to the movies. She likes romantic comedies, I like crime dramas, and action. So you know what type of movie we went to see. Being with her has made me do more compromising than usual. I remember the time when it was all about me. Now, it’s all about us. I must say, she hasn’t picked out a bad movie yet. Not my kind of movies, but entertaining sometimes even enjoyable. I don’t mind doing the things she likes to do. But she never asks me to do something she knows there’s no way in hell I’ll do. We fifty fifty in this thing called marriage. My point is, compromising doesn’t make you any less of a man. Matter of fact it makes you a better person, and opens up your mind to things you otherwise wouldn’t consider. Just think how would your life be if you wasn’t open to try new things?

P.S. Baggage Claim was a decent movie, predictable, but decent. Paula Patton is pretty ass hell!! I’d be seeing blurred lines too!!

Hear Me Out

The older I get and the more I read, I have realized that we must change the way we think. Eliminate negatives words, thoughts, sentences, etc. By changing the way we speak about things, it will change your outlook on life. I hear people say a lot, Man I can’t afford to pay that, in investing opportunities for themselves. How about saying I can’t afford not to pay that. That phrase alone changes the way you look at things pertaining to investing in yourself. Another example: I can’t afford to save money. Like my mom always says, you can’t afford not to save money. Always see the positive and make the future that you want to happen. Don’t settle for doing what society says you should do, i.e graduate high school, graduate from college, get married, then have kids. Screw that. Get to that futuristic point in any way you can, legally that is. Don’t always do the status quo. Make up your own rules in appliance within the law. Think about this, what would’ve become of Michael Jordan if he quit basketball after being cut from his eight grade team, or if Eminem would’ve graduated from high school?

Hear Me Out

I will be using this particular blog to just vent and get some things off my chest about society and the rules they say we should abide by. The list of things I questions is infinite. These subjects rang from government issues, how we should think, what we should be doing, the purpose of taxes, political correctness, sports, and everything else I encounter on a daily basis. I’m going to send this out daily just like my “And I Quote” posts. I look forward to entertaining and enlightening you on my thoughts and view points. Blog you later. Tell a friend. I appreciate it!! ✌️

And I Quote

20130919-121944.jpg

Everyday I will post a quote from public figure that I admire. I hope you can apply the quote into your daily journey.

Subject/Theme: Money

“Rule No. 1: Never lose money. Rule No. 2: Never forget rule No 1.”

Be cautious with your spendings. Always put yourself into a position not to lose money.
